Membership of the Cape Town Psychoanalytic Self Psychology Group is open to anyone registered as a mental health practitioner, or student mental health practitioner, with the appropriate statutory body in South Africa; or those with equivalent professional qualification.

Annual fees are due by the 1 April each year and includes membership of the Jungian Library, which houses books and other materials bought by the CTPSPG. Subscription to Psycho-analytic Psychotherapy in South Africa is an optional extra.
